What targeting options are available?
We offer various targeting options to optimise your campaign in the best possible way. These include contextual targeting (e.g. matching page content), geographical targeting (by region or postcode), device targeting (e.g. mobile only), time-based targeting (by time of day or day of the week), and user-based retargeting. This allows you to reach your target audience exactly where they are most receptive.
Which Pixels are available?
We offer three types of pixels to track and optimise your campaigns in the best possible way: 1. Engagement Pixel: measures traffic quality based on session duration and page views. This data contributes to your campaign's engagement score and supports optimisation for particularly valuable users. 2. Retargeting Pixel: enables you to retarget users who have already visited your website – ideal for mid- and lower-funnel campaigns. 3. Conversion Pixel: measures defined actions (e.g. sales or leads) after the click. All pixels are GDPR-compliant and can be easily integrated into existing setups – for full transparency along the funnel.
What optimization options are available?
At AdUp, you can choose between three optimization modes, depending on your preferred level of control: 1. Automatic: The algorithm dynamically adjusts CPCs based on your target CPO. After a brief learning phase, the system optimizes independently for the best possible performance. 2. Supported: Your target CPO serves as a safeguard – if the set CPC is significantly higher than what is sensible for a good cost-per-conversion, a limit is automatically applied. 3. Manual: Here, you control all CPCs yourself, without any automatic correction mechanisms. We only recommend this option for experienced users or for campaigns without a conversion goal.
Which ad specifications are required for the AdUp Ads Tool?
General Information on Ad Delivery AdUp dynamically assembles your ad from text, headline, image, and link. How do I design native layouts for my page?
The ad slots on your website can be flexibly designed and adapted to your layout. To do this, select an existing ad unit or create a new one. In the "Edit ad unit" view, in addition to the general settings, other options are available that allow you to individually define the structure and presentation. You can integrate ad units as either static or responsive ads. While static formats have fixed sizes and layouts, responsive ads automatically adapt to the available space. In addition, you can choose from classic formats such as the leaderboard (728×90) or define your own aspect ratios and determine how many ads are displayed within a block. For larger areas, it is recommended to place multiple ads in columns or rows. The layout of the ad itself is also flexible: you can choose between image-text ads and text-only ads, as well as individually determine the image size and alignment. For ad copy, the title, description and link can be styled separately, including font sizes and optional mouseover effects. For a harmonious overall look, it is advisable to adopt the colours of your website to make the ads appear more native and increase the likelihood of clicks. Alternatively, you can also activate a CTA button. During transfection or design, you should regularly refresh the preview to ensure that all ads are displayed correctly. Pay particular attention to ensuring that text is not cut off and that the layout works for different content – if necessary, font sizes and spacing can be adjusted at any time.
